Workshop for khb teachers in German.
The workshop offers BIPoC the opportunity for a RELAXING exchange about their own exhaustion, overload, illness, disability and self-positioning. There will be an access check. There will be a brief explanation of what Ableism is. The participants* will be able to discuss care and care webs. And the most important thing has also been thought of: breaks to process and catch your breath.
Christiane Hutson is a Black Hetera of Color, with an on/off relationship to illness. Her personal and working interest is contextualizing experiences of disability and illness from BIPoC perspectives. The political movements and frameworks she feels most drawn to are Disability Justice and intergenerational, embodied, decolonized parenting. To unwind, Christiane playes board-games or goes for a walk.
