MengXuan Artist Talk

Cookies & Screens presents an artist talk with MengXuan Sun. MengXuan will give us a behind-the-scenes look at her work and introduce the various techniques and technologies she uses to construct her worlds. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session.

MengXuan Sun is a Digital Artist based in Berlin, co-founder of AN(8)X collective. She creates her works with game engines to describe the formation of her own spiritual world with 3D visual materials. It’s more like exploration and adventure in the virtual world, with a strong sense of the unknown, to imagine a neo romantic future. She performs as an audiovisual artist in Europe and Asia. She built control systems to mediate the relationship between sound, lights and motion tracking in her performances. She has been doing audiovisual performances at the Transmediale Berlin, Silent Green, ACUD MACHT NEU, Pompidou Center in West Bund Shanghai.
