Workshop for khb teachers in German.
The workshop is organized in cooperation with +dimensions & ARTplus.

For many disabled individuals, the path to universities is challenging. However, once they are there, they encounter numerous barriers in teaching and everyday student life. In addition to physical barriers, prejudices and myths also complicate the studies of disabled individuals. There are many uncertainties: Can I ask about their disability, and how should I do it? What role do invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses play? What are the needs of disabled students to follow the teaching?
This seminar with Anne Gersdorff provides practical tips for breaking down barriers – in teaching and for interacting with disabled students on an equal footing.

Anne Gersdorff works as a project manager and speaker at the organization Sozialhelden e.V. for JOBinklusive. There, she connects companies, organizations, and people with disabilities to promote more inclusion in the general job market. She advocates for the self-determined life of disabled individuals and for an inclusive society and has written the book “Stoppt Ableismus”.
